What's in the bag

A couple of weeks old and fresh as. Coarse and chunky with that reddish colour. There's some leaf mixed through because the whole tree went through the chipper, which helps it break down and feed the soil.

Great for garden beds, veggie patches, pathways, weed control, chook runs and around trees.

Each bag is a generous 125L, filled with 3 heaping 40L buckets. That's bigger than the usual shop bags, and covers 1.5 to 2m².

F.A.Q.

Is it fresh or aged?

A few weeks old, from recently felled gum trees. Best for garden beds, paths and around established plants. If you're planting seedlings, keep it a hand-width back from the stems.

Is it treated, dyed or chemical-free?

Straight from the chipper, nothing added. No dye, no treatment.

Is there leaf in it?

Yes, some. The whole tree went through the chipper, so there's leaf and a bit of bark mixed through the chip. It breaks down and feeds the soil.

How much does a bag cover?

Each bag is roughly 125L. At a good depth of 75mm it covers about 1.5 to 2m².

How heavy is a bag?

Roughly 28 to 35kg. Most people can lift one, but it's a solid bag, so bring a mate or a trolley if you're buying a few. I'm happy to help load it into your vehicle.

Can I pick up?

Yes, from Drayton. Message me and we'll sort a time. I'll send the address once we've agreed, and I'm happy to help load.

Do you deliver?

Yes, $20 flat within about 15km of Drayton, no matter how many bags you order. Further out? Ask and I'll let you know.

How do I pay?

On the day, at pickup or delivery.

Can I fill my own bags?

Sorry, no. All bags are filled and tied up ready to go.

Is it good for veggie patches, chook runs or paths?

Yes to all three. It's rustic and chunky, not a fine screened garden-centre grade.

Is it still available?

If the ad's up, it's available. I'll take it down or mark it sold when it's gone.
